Revelation 4:8

Psalm 40:2

To and fro with no where to go,
here then gone, up then low,
the world falls short, everything leaves
for in the wind, branches fall off trees.

for know, I do, You are my life line.
I will not look to the wind today,
for You are the rock in all that I say.
Only you are sturdy forever,
and this world will consume my life, never.
For you are the rock in which i stand,
all other ground is sinking sand.

Isaiah 41:10

So do not fear, for I am with you;
    do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
    I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

No words can ever surpass the peace found within The Word, as the previous verse exemplifies.

I Will Follow You

Jesus doesn't just point the way, He leads the way. He not only TELLS us which way to go, He walks with us on the right path. When we start to turn, He holds and guides us, yet He only does so on the narrow path. With every step you take, the end gets nearer and the result, brighter. But, what separates Him from your average tour guide? Jesus not only points the way and leads the way, but He IS the way. John 14:6.

Luke 17:6

In Your name, mountains move;

Trembling, beneath Your feet.

If my faith resembles a mustard seed,

so to You I bow my knee,

these mountains will tremble beneath not only thee, but me.

Your lips expound the reasons.

Outward fire burning all,

because I asked, you see.

Your name, glorified,

because believe, I did, but all by Your strength.

For You, the One and Only,

through which all majesties, done.

Revelation 12:2

I feel cold, almost shaky, as tears fall down my face.
How could it happen again? Is there no love?
I'm hurt, my insides, appearing as overflowing crystals from my eyes.
I run dry as i long for more.
Peace is what I long for, an end to the morbid suffering.
What cause this pain?
Why am I at fault for this immense hurt?
I want it to be over, an end to all the pain.
Every night comes back stronger, more controlling.
I'm at the end of my rope. I can't take it any more!
This all needs to stop! I'm incapable of handling this by myself.
Suddenly, I belt it out, "I need you and I don't desire anything else in my life! I am broken; you are a cast. I am torn; you are a tailor. I am filth; you are bleach!"
Then silence. Thump, Thump, Thump.
I'm filling, growing love.
The feeling of wholeness throughout me.
It's happening again, the crystals are pouring out, only this time of joy.
My burdens are cast! I am free! No pinch of sadness inside! It's all gone!
You saved me from the world, from my filthy ways!
I owe EVERYTHING to you, I'll start with my life; it's Yours forever!
God, Christ, Love, Emmanuel, Lord, the Faithful Holy One, Savior, the way, the truth, Almighty, Majesty I am yours!
For I was lost but now am found; I was blind but now Ii see.
I see you, and my eyes will never turn. You saved my life.
i would be dead without you, dead in this world of sin.
Where hurt was all around me, where I thought of myself as worthless and a failure. You came for me.
Rescued me from death.
Rescued my life.
Rescued my talents.
Rescued me from depression.
Rescued me.

Our life, Not Our Own

We can make or break,
but the what is not ours.
We can live or die,
but the result is not ours.
We can shout or be silent,
but the cause is not ours.
We can love or hate,
but the act is not ours.
We can embrace or deny,
but the feelings are not ours.
We can fight or be beaten,
but the victory is not ours.
We can care or turn away,
but the outcome is not ours.
We can choose God or the Devil,
and the choice is ours.

James 1:5

The wise, old owl. Not the young owl, for wisdom comes with age. The owl exemplifies wisdom; sitting and listening in the light and talking in the darkness. An owl just watches, listens, and learns in the light; the Light is the only provider of wisdom. After listening in the light, the owl speaks in the darkness, and what does an owl say? Who. In the same way, when we are surrounded by darkness, the wisdom that we have been granted stops us and reminds us, who. Who is this life for, who is worthy, and who is more than anything we can ever say or do. In the ways of the wise, old owl, let us proceed.

1 John 3:16

True love is saying what's best for one's spirit, not one's ego; for with spirit is life where as ego coincides with death.

Psalm 18:2

God is the ONLY certainty in this uncertain world. Though this temporary state of life may crumble all around us, we are on the Rock that can NEVER be moved or shaken. It is the only true peace amongst the storm. If in our entire lives God only revealed to us the fact that He is God, we would have enough knowledge to know that nothing else matters and we would be made whole. He is the only ultimate truth, and His word is the only complete revealer of it. There is no words that can be said that are true apart from words from the Bible. If we want to be speakers of the truth, we must be speakers of the Word; because apart from the Word, our lips speak folly.

Matthew 6:10

Heaven meets Earth during every step a believer takes. A glimpse of nature is Heaven on Earth. A newborn baby is Heaven on Earth. A smile is Heaven on Earth. Although seemingly cliche, complete truth resounds in these statements. Eternity with Jesus begins at salvation, not at death; therefore, walking with Him must be as if perfection surrounds, for Perfection does.

Romans 8:1

With conviction comes comfort, yet condemnation stands alone. When one feels condemned (def: sentenced to punishment), he/she chooses to believe that the freedom that God has provided cannot trump that of the devil's attempts to imprison. Guess what, God BOUGHT you with the Ultimate Price and nothing can withstand against what He wills, and He wills you free and in His arms. On the other had, when conviction happens, you release sins and errors in order to avoid harmful bondage. Although you have already been embraced by Jesus Christ and NOTHING can change that, you can horrifically be made as ineffective for the Kingdom as possible, and conviction occurs in order to prevent this idleness from occuring (for when one is saved, the devil's plan to destroy your life changes from doing all to prevent you from meeting Jesus to doing all to prevent you from leading others to the meeting). We must long for conviction and cast off condemnation, because our effectiveness and faith depend on it.

This is my Desire, Consume me Like a Fire.

Begins with one match, but a prior building was required. The bark allows quick flames to burst: a conference, words from God, etc. The kindling does just that, kindle (def: to cause to begin burning): worship, prayer, etc. The logs allow for a lengthy, steady burn: daily quiet time, secret prayer life, etc. The logs then turn to coals and create an ever burning fire. Sparks can fly out and cause the fire to rapidly spread; this ultimately being the goal. All parts necessary for the fire to ignite, but the match can only be provided by the Fire Himself. Caution must be used, however, for a fire, left untended, dies quickly.
